Captain Buchen, is a U.S.C.G. Licensed Guide, with first aid training. He grew up fishing and hunting at a very young age, and has been has been a licensed guide since  1993.

Captain Buchen, has a degree from Texas A & M / Kingsville, TX  in Marine Biology and has a vast knowledge of the Texas Coast line and its habitat. He takes pride in fishing with artificial lures, and specializes in plastic lures. While Captain Buchen is based out of Port Mansfield his fishing vessel is capable of going north of Port Mansfield to the Land Cut, or as far south as South Padre Island.  We also have awesome offshore fishing for snapper, kingfish, tarpon and many other species. Captain Buchen provides incredible fishing & hunting experiences catered for the sportsman or woman in you. We have trips for corporate parties, families or an individual that wants to get away from the rest of the world for a little while.
